Q. Can my Son/Daughter attend your camp(s) if he is just a beginner in baseball and/or under your specific age requirement? A. If your son loves the game and has an ambition at getting better with some concept of the game, then he is welcome to attend any camp we offer. WE leave the starting age up to you as the parent as you know your child best. Q. How do I know which camps to attend? A. If your son has never been to one or more of our camps, we really encourage all of them. Anyone is welcome to sign up for any camp, but the players with whom attend more camps, tend to be the more advanced players and we see them excel at faster rate than players that participate in less. So we highly recommend all of our camps! Q. Why should my son attend a Hitting Zone camp over others in this area? A. Here are some reasons why The Hitting Zone has been the leader in Professional Baseball Camps for so long and why we'll continue paving the way in professional camps here in the Inland Northwest. (1.) We have over 70 years of experience all under one roof. (2.) We have 2 former Big Leaguers, 1 former AAA Catcher and Catching Coach, a Nationally Certified Pitching Instructor, a former Division 1 Player and 20 year camp clinician all on staff with The Hitting Zone. (3.) ALL 5 instructors are high level High School/NW Coaches in the area as well. (4.) We have had more players move on to play College and Professional Baseball than any other camp in the area AND don't just advertise local High School League Players as we have quite a few of those as well! (5.) All of our camps have a lower player to coach ratio than any other in the area at 8:1 or less. We also have some elite players in the area come out and assist at camp, but 100% of our coaching is done utilizing our professional staff. (6.) Baseball is about QUALITY repetitions. The more quality repetitions you get and the more you play the game, the better player you'll become. We recommend attending as many camps as you can. We run camps year round to help cater to our clients schedules and make sure we have something offered for every player of every age and regardless of ability. Q. What should my child bring with him to camp? A. This all depends on which of our camps you attend and during what season. However, some basic items would be a glove, bat, batting gloves AND come comfortable. Your son/Daughter DOES NOT need to be in full uniform to attend our camps. Our indoor camps DO NOT allow cleats of any type on the indoor facility floors. Cleats may be worn at any and all outdoor camps we put on during the warmer months. If you come to any of our indoor caps at The Valley Hub Sports Center, we do not allow black soled shoes on the floors. Q. How will I know you received my payment? A. We're one of the only camps that offers so many payment options. You may simply pay online at our website via pay pal, pay by check/cash or even pay using a Visa/Mastercard at any of our camp venues. Once payment is received, The Hitting Zone will send you a confirmation email. Q. What is your refund policy? A. The Hitting Zone DOES NOT offer monetary refunds. However, we do offer a camp credit good for (1) year from the time of the event missed. All of our camps/clinics have a strict enrollment and we end up having to send kids away once our maximum enrollment has been reached. Thank you for your attention to this minor detail. |
